People at crossroads in their live interests me.
The questions they are confronted with , in balance with the choices they have.
I wanted to make a film about adolescents and love , a boy becoming a man.

Synopsis:

O is a humanistic and poetic story of a fragile man trying to achieve a simple task where his main obstacle is within himself.

I walk in a circle
around everything which is.
And within this circle
is your world.

My shadow fell for a moment
on the window’s glass.

I walk in a circle
around everything which is.
And outside this circle
is my world.

(Outside the Circle by Steinn Steinarr /

translated by Alan Thompson)

Directors statement

"The grey scale of life” is a vital element of my filmmaking.

Everything is multilayered or has different and often opposite

emotions and perspectives to it.

The moments in life that are black or white or few.

We spend our lives traveling on the spectrum between the two.
